Pred takmer 20-timi rokmi práve medzinárodná súťažná výstava študentských fotografií študentov architektúry a dizajnu FOTO EXPO prebudila starú kotolňu na FAD STU k životu a teraz sa po niekoľkých rokoch spánku znova vracia do svojich obľúbených priestorov.
Téma SEPARÁCIE nikdy nebola bližšie ku každému z nás. Keď sme ju niekedy v januári 2018 vymysleli, nikto ešte netušil, ako desivo sa bude vzťahovať na súčasnú existenciu. Tá však so sebou prináša jedinečnú možnosť zamyslieť sa originálne zvečniť svoje pocity vo forme fotografie.

„Together and Alone. The colorful spectrum of destinies. Concrete abstraction. Torn society.
Almost 20 years ago, the international competitive exhibition of student photography FOTO EXPO, organized by architecture and design students, brought the old boiler room at the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FAD STU) back to life. Now, after several years of dormancy, it is returning to its favorite spaces.
The theme of SEPARATIONS has never been closer to each of us. When we conceived it in January 2018, no one knew how eerily it would relate to the current existence. However, it brings with it a unique opportunity to reflect and capture one’s emotions in the form of photography.

The competition is open for all students in the fields of architecture, design, landscape architecture, and urbanism. The competition aims to showcase the artistic sensibilities of students at the intersection of art and technology.

There will be wine, there will be music, but most importantly, there will be people and photos! We look forward to seeing you!
